Lucia Lima

Lucia “Lulu” Lima is a Firefighter with the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), where she proudly continues a multi-generational family legacy of service. Following her graduation from the LAFD Recruit Academy in 2023, she successfully completed her probationary period and now serves on the front lines protecting the residents of Los Angeles.

Inspired by a lifetime of dedication to the fire service, Lulu is the daughter of retired LAFD Fire Captain Frank V. Lima, former President of the United Firefighters of Los Angeles City (UFLAC Local 112). She is passionate about representing the next generation of firefighters and demonstrating that the fire service offers rewarding opportunities for women from all backgrounds.

As a member of the Cal-JAC Commission to Recruit Women for the Fire Service, Lulu is committed to encouraging, mentoring, and inspiring young women to pursue careers in the fire service while helping build a workforce that reflects the diverse communities it serves.
