Laura Hernandez

Tracy

Hired in 2000, Laura serves the City of Tracy Fire Department as a firefighter/paramedic and is a member of Tracy City Firefighters, Local 3355. Fluent in Spanish, Laura presents the "Learn Not to Burn" curriculum to the Tracy School District's grammar schools, and gives fire safety presentations at district high schools and Delta Community College. She is also proud to be a member of the Department's Honor Guard. 

Laura is dedicated in her commitment to mentor those seeking a career in the fire service and has been a member of the Cal-JAC’s Women’s Commission since its 2005 inception. She also serves as a CPAT proctor at FCTC Livermore.
